New Positions at Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co., Inc.

Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co., Inc., has created two new positions to help better serve the customer base in Lincoln, Nebraska and Grand Island, Nebraska. An Area Sales Manager and an Area Product Support Manager have been created and both will be based out of the Lincoln, Nebraska, store location. Greg Kozisek has accepted the Area Sales Manager position and will be responsible for managing the sales department of both Lincoln and Grand Island, Nebraska. Doug Jacobson will be the new Area Product Support Manager and will be responsible for overseeing the parts and service departments at both stores.
Kozisek first got started in the construction industry as a John Deere Construction & Forestry Equipment Tech student at Southeast Community College in Milford, Nebraska. After graduation, he worked in the service department at Murphy Tractor as a shop and field technician at the Lincoln, Nebraska store and then moved to the shop foreman. From there Kozisek has been the salesman for the rural Lincoln, Nebraska territory for the past twelve years. He is excited for his new role with Murphy Tractor. “I am looking forward to meeting and working with new people to help grow their business and ours,” explains Kozisek.
Jacobson graduated from the Diesel Farm Technology program at Southeast Community College in Milford, Nebraska. After graduation, he began working for Murphy Tractor as a shop technician and then moved to a field technician. In 2011, Jacobson accepted the Service Manager position for the Lincoln store and he is eager to continue to help customers solve problems in his new role with Murphy Tractor. “I look forward to working closely with customers to solve problems with superior support and technology. Together we show our value to help them run and grow profitable businesses,” states Jacobson.
