Murphy Tractor Acquires Eight Nortrax Equipment Locations

One of John Deere’s largest North American construction equipment dealer organizations continues to grow.
Wichita, Kan., March 16, 2010 — Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co., one of John Deere’s largest North American construction equipment dealer organizations, announced today they have signed a letter of intent to expand its territory with the asset purchase of eight Nortrax Equipment locations in Ohio. The Ohio locations include Brunswick (Cleveland), Canton, Cincinnati, Columbus, Lima, Painesville, Youngstown and Vandalia (Dayton). Nortrax, headquartered in Tampa, Fl., is also a John Deere construction equipment dealer.
