Murphy Service Provides Faster Cylinder Repair
March 12, 2008
Murphy Tractor has recently made a large investment in additional tooling for its service department. A hydraulic cylinder servicer is now in place at the Kansas City branch, and is available for use by all Murphy Tractor locations. This tool helps in the rebuilding process of ANY size or make of hydraulic cylinders currently in the market place. In today’s industry, very high torque is required for disassembly and reassembly – this tool can handle that torque. This provides Murphy Tractor with the ability to complete cylinder repair much faster, which benefits our customers by reducing downtime.
The new Hydraulic Cylinder Servicer is designed to provide…
Hundreds of different sizes and types of cylinders can be serviced on each of the HCS Series Servicer Models.
One Man Operation
Tuxco’s unique designs and built-in hydraulic power allow one man to service cylinders easily and without assistance. Set up is quick and easy with the provided mounting cones.
Thousands of lbs/ft (kg-m) of torque are available to remove rod guide retaining caps, plugs and cap bolts. Tons of hydraulic force are available to extract piston rods from cylinder barrels…And depending upon which of the HCS Series machines selected, there is up to 60,000 lbs/ft (8298 kg-m) of torque to remove and replace piston retaining nuts.
