Murphy Tractor Celebrates the Graduation of Three Service Technicians

Murphy Tractor celebrated the graduation of three technicians from their Construction & Forestry Technician Program at Southeast Community College in Milford, NE on Thursday, September 20th. They include: Wesley Cooper from Gering, NE; Christopher Hayward from North Platte, NE; and Carlos Meza from Ulysses, KS.
Murphy Tractor and Deere & Co, jointly sponsor this unique program, which alternates a class and work schedule. After completing the 2 year program, each C&F Tech has earned an associate’s degree in applied sciences as Level I service technicians with Level II qualifications. The cost of tuition, books and fees is reimbursed by Murphy Tractor after two years of post graduation work with the company.
The graduation address was given by Max Miller, VP Used Equipment, of Gering, NE. Wesley Cooper gave the class response. Presentations were given by Bill August, Keith Temple and Gary Strehle.
Other Murphy Tractor guests attending were, Scott Dickey, Troy Herman, Ken Rice (and wife Dorothy), and Rich Fawson.
