Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co., Inc. Appoints New President

Park City, KS (June 7, 2019) – Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co., Inc., recently announced the selection of Bill Buckles to serve as the new President of the company. This follows the recent notice of retirement of President Tom Udland. Based out of corporate headquarters, located in Park City, Kansas, Buckles will be providing leadership to the company to provide market leading solutions in machines and product support to customers.
Dave Murfin, Chairman, Board of Directors states, “I congratulate Bill Buckles on his well-deserved promotion. He has over 35 years of valuable industry experience and strong market insights. During his 26 years at Murphy Tractor, he has greatly contributed to the Company’s growth and success. I am excited for the future under his leadership.”
Buckles, an Iowa native, graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from Central College and received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa. He joined Murphy Tractor in 1993 as the Sales Manager and became the company’s Vice President in 1998. He held this title held until the recent promotion.
